Description:
It is the property of Mr. Lambert, containing 576 statute acres, 7/8 ths of which is cultivated, the remainder heathy and rocky pasture. 35 chains West N.W. of its S.E. angle stands a Trigl. Station 118 feet above the sea, 7 chains South of which and parallel to the townlands South side runs a bye road, and 2 chains North of its termination is a spring well. Its general surface varies from 89 to 134 feet above the level of the sea at low water. The land is considered of a very inferior quality.
Situation:
It is situated 4 miles West of Athenry, bounded on the North by Barretts Park, East by Caherbriskaun and Lisheenkyle East, South and West by Palmerstown.
